Meet Joel, your average college student in Idaho. Meet Amy, the girl who stole Joel's heart. Here's where
you can learn all about them and watch as their life together unfolds.
The two met 4 June 2002. Believe it or not, they met at ldschat.com in the Single Adult group. Intrigued
by Amy's screenname about living in Idaho, Joel began writing to Amy with the hopes of making a friend in the same state he
currently resided. After various correspondances, the two finally decided to meet in person. The weekend of 15
June 2002, Amy traveled to Joel's college town to meet him. Joel took Amy to an island in the local Snake River and
then they biked back to town, a distance of about 15 miles! The two were nearly inseparable the entire weekend.
After that weekend, Joel traveled to Southern Idaho about once a month to visit with Amy. The two continued corresponding. On
August 10th, the morning of Amy's brother's wedding, Joel proposed to her.

We have set a wedding date! We are to be wed on 1 May 2003.

Joel's sister returns from her mission in Germany on Thanksgiving day.
Joel is officially an uncle, his first niece, Liah, was born 24 September 2002.
We have picked a Temple! We are getting sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Joel becomes an uncle again! 2.5 weeks he's averaging! :) Neice Avery entered
the world at 12:53 PM Mountain Time 11 October 2002 weighting in at 6 pounds 13 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.
